Auditions for The Gondoliers will be held on Wednesday, December 5 and Thursday, December 6 from 7:30 to 9:30 pm at the Sierra 2 Community Center (24th St at Castro Way). Look for signs at the entrance doors for directions to the audition room.

Please read the following audition information carefully:

• You should attend on Wednesday if possible. Wednesday is primarily for singing auditions; Thursday is primarily for cold-readings or callbacks, but if you can't get there on Wednesday, come on Thursday instead.
• Try to be there from the beginning of the audition period (7:30 pm).
• Prepare a short song in English from the recognized musical theatre/light opera repertoire.
• An accompanist will be provided. Make sure you bring a copy of the sheet music for your song. (The accompanist will thank you if you tape the pages together accordion-style instead of leaving them loose or putting them in a binder!) Please mark any cuts clearly.
• If you learn your song from a CD, we  strongly recommend that you practice with an accompanist at least once before the audition.
• Cold readings from the script will be given out at the audition as necessary.
• A resume and head-shot are useful, if you have them (but don't worry if you don't).
